Meet Sophie Sutton, our Project Co-ordinator
Sophie works within the operations team as a Project Co-ordinator, supporting Eden and Jonathan to ensure acquisitions run smoothly. With a background that spans logistics, data analysis, HR and payroll, and project management, Sophie brings a broad and practical skill set to the role – and a clear focus on operations.
Her previous role gave her exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, helping her develop a strong organisational mindset and an ability to juggle complex tasks. At Tech Acquisitions, she’s focused on learning as much as possible, gradually taking work off Eden’s plate and helping the team scale effectively as the business grows.
Day to day, Sophie is heavily involved in the acquisition process. This includes liaising with sellers, reviewing legal documents and cost books, and working through large volumes of information to ensure everything is in order before an acquisition completes.
She plays a key role in gathering, organising and structuring documentation, checking for missing information, and coordinating with a wide range of stakeholders. At any one time, there could be as many as five acquisitions progressing in parallel so there is a lot of work to do.
Her first impressions of Tech Acquisitions are overwhelmingly positive. The business is growing rapidly but thoughtfully, with a clear focus on introducing structure, mapping processes, and continuously improving how acquisitions are managed.
Looking ahead, Sophie is keen to deepen her understanding of the business as a whole – from the technical elements to the finer details of the acquisition process and regulatory considerations. Her goal is to take on more responsibility as her knowledge grows and to play an increasingly integral role in supporting smooth, successful acquisitions.
Outside of work, Sophie has two cocker spaniels and enjoys skiing, playing pool, and socialising. She and her partner are preparing for an eventual house move, and she’s also looking forward to a trip to Courchevel in France.
