Kate Bagnall – her background

Kate Bagnall is our Commercial Director and she brings a different, but hugely valuable background to Tech Acquisitions. Before joining, she ran her own recruitment business for 14 years, then moved into business coaching – helping others to build their own businesses, supporting SME owners with growth, systems and performance.

Kate is a certified coach and NLP practitioner, and her experience with people, process and commercial improvement now plays a central role at TA.

What’s her focus

Kate’s focus spans two key areas: commercial strategy and people. She works to ensure processes are streamlined, the right people are in the right roles, and both TA and the businesses acquired have an optimised sales function. That means evaluating sales processes, improving conversion opportunities, and working closely with the teams to help drive traction and long-term performance.

Day to day

Kate is deeply involved in aligning people, processes and growth. Whether she’s reviewing systems, coaching teams, or shaping commercial plans, her role is all about creating clarity and setting the wider group up for sustainable success.

Outside the office, Kate is happiest outdoors. She is passionate about health and wellbeing, loves horse riding, long country walks and spending time with her two children, aged 11 and 14 – usually while running a full-time taxi service for them between activities!

Her balance of commercial acumen and calm, people-focused leadership makes her a steady, grounding presence within the business.
